LOL we’ve been reading Mr Wolfs class and Mr Wolf asked “why do we count in tens” and the kid in book said “bc we have ten fingers!!” And Mr Wolf said that is correct and Jordan was cracking up but I couldn’t decide if it was true or not 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ha! This reminds me of some experiment with children/teenagers and grownups, both groups spend equal amounts of time in rooms with no way to tell time, the children always estimated more time had passed and the adults the opposite! Something about how much memory experience they have that alters their perception of time like for an eight year old three weeks is a longer portion of their life ha! That’s why kids always say oh man seemed like forever but grandparents are like oh man it went by in the blink of an eye lol so the fact that you think it’s felt so long is a really good sign this trip is making you guys younger!!!

I'll make the kids write a journal entry about it! How they pestered me to get a cactus and then ignored it right after I got it.
